DESCRIPTION:Presented by the Missouri Rhineland Kennel Club\nWhat do fine wines and the finest dog breeds have in common? They’re products of selection\, refinement and good taste! Experience the unique characteristics of both with a palate-pleasing evening of canine and cultural enlightenment. Get up close and personal with more than 40 different breeds of dogs originating from all parts of the world\, including Havanese\, Kookerhondijes and Newfoundlands\, while sampling an international smorgasbord of wines\, cheeses\, snacks and dessert. As you enjoy tasty tidbits of food and knowledge\, cast your vote for People’s Choice Best of Breed Booth. The top 4 booths win a prize! Also\, watch some amazing cultural performances that include Scottish\, Irish and Belly dancing as well as costumed roving entertainers. Take home a keepsake photo as a reminder of the lovely evening. Imported and Domestic Wines brought to you by The Wine Barrel in Sunset Hills.  Plus\, The Weingarten in Belleville\, IL\, will host a special wine bar in the North American section of the event and offer samples of their decadent local wines. \n  \nLearn about the different breeds’ temperaments\, abilities\, training\, ownership and handling while meeting dogs of varying breeds. Some of the breeds include Irish Wolfhounds\, Dobermans\, Whippets\, Dachshunds\, Samoyeds\, Dalmatians\, St. Bernards\, Corgis\, Border Collies\, Bouviers and Great Danes. \nTaster Tickets: \n$35 per person in advance (Advance ticket sales for this event will end June 17 at 8:00 pm) \n$40 per person at the door \nEach tasting ticket includes: \n\nTasting ticket book redeemable for 10 wine samples and one full glass of your favorite wine\nA variety of cheeses complemented by crackers\, fruits\, bread and olive oil for dipping\nDelicious dessert\nKeepsake wine glass\nEvent photo\nUnlimited soft drinks and water\n\n  \nOther Ticket: \n$20 per person for designated drivers includes cheese\, snacks\, dessert\, soda and water. \n  \nTaster tickets are for guests 21+ only.  All event guests must be at least 18 years of age or older.
