Clayhouse Cabernet Sauvignon

 WINEMAKER’S NOTES:

In spite of drought conditions, the weather for the 2014 vintage was very good for wine grapes, and provided an abundant and high-quality crop. Good fortune years like this are a blessing, and the wines show good depth of character.

Deep purple / dark red color. Aromas of dark Bing cherries and black currants, with hints of cedar and sweet vanilla. The wine is rich and full-bodied. It has sweet black cherry and ripe plum fruit flavors with licorice undertones. This Cabernet Sauvignon has tannins that are rounded and smooth. It finishes with warm toasty notes.
