Fall Class Series | A.V.A.s of the USA

American Viticultural Area! (AVA) that is the designation given to wine regions in the U.S. From coast to coast, these AVAs produce some of the country’s finest wines. We’ll explain what that means and its significance. We’ll also taste through some examples of wines from some of the U.S.s over 230 AVAs. This class will feature white and red wines that showcase the unique differences in the growing conditions of the AVAs. Does anyone know what the first AVA was?
