WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
The summer of 2014 was cooler than average. Beautiful weather arrived in September and remained until the end of October. An unseasonably warm and dry September gave the vines optimal ripening conditions, and thus the grapes reached the perfect balance between sugar, acidity and phenols, worthy of a great vintage.
Bright, beautifully intense ruby color. On the nose, intense and seductive, combining aromas of candied licorice, violets and very ripe black fruit. The palate is round and full-bodied, with noticeable but well-integrated tannins. The finish is clean, fruity and harmonious.
ACCOLADES:
