Château Fongaban Puisseguin Saint-Émilion

The color of the Château Fongaban is so dense and deep that it is almost black. The bouquet is already complex with aromas of red and black fruit, licorice, and toasted oak. Sweet and round on the attack, it becomes more powerful and concentrated with strong and elegant tannins. This wine shows much potential.

With a history that dates back to the 18th century, Château Fongaban is one of the oldest estates in the Saint-Émilion commune of Puisseguin. Long held by the Moreau family, the estate was acquired by Gabriel Taïx in 1936. The Taïx family expanded the estate from 22 acres to 103. The estate is now managed by Gabriel’s son, Georges, and his grandson, Pierre.
