WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
This pleasantly fruity Pinot Grigio from Southern Italy is grown in Puglia. Puglia is the “heel” of Italy. This hot growing region is surrounded by two seas that bring in cool breezes to the grapes and prevent them from ripening too quickly, while the warm sun brings forth fruity and rich flavors. This softer and richer style of Pinot Grigio tantalizes from the first sip with fresh citrus, pear and peach notes. A gentle acidity balances the rounder, fuller body with a delightfully crisp edge.

This soft, yet crisp Pinot Grigio pairs well with a fresh Caprese salad or with a creamy Alfredo pasta with sautéed vegetables.
