WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
2015 was characterized by a rather late bud break and rapid flowering in excellent conditions with very little rainfall and above average temperatures. July was hot and relatively dry, however August was very rainy compared to the last fifteen years. The onset of ripening started in late July/early August and by the end of the season the grapes reached the perfect balance between sugar, acidity and phenols. The grapes were then harvested from September 1st -10th.
Pale straw color with glints of green. On the nose, elegant, seductive, and dominated by mineral notes (gun flint) mingled with aromas of white fruit and acacia flowers. On the palate, very flavorful; fullbodied and rounded on the attack. The finish is fresh, aromatic and dominated by citrus notes typical of Sauvignon Blanc.
