Pepperwood Grove Sauvignon Blanc

WINEMAKING NOTES:

Lightly straw-colored in the glass, this wine has subtle grassy aromas reminiscent of the outside of a fresh jalapeño with a hint of lime zest. Fresh and effortlessly drinkable on the palate, this Sauvignon Blanc’s light grapefruit and tropical fruit profile is soft, but with a backbone of integrated acidity. A blend of cooler climate vineyards from south eastern Paso Robles and Clarksburg, this wine was picked earlier in the season to preserve the natural acidity and fresh fruit profile.

FOOD PAIRING:

To pair with this wine, a summer salad with a citrus vinaigrette, crumbled goat cheese, and grapefruit segments would perfectly match the fruit flavors of our California Sauvignon Blanc, as well as its light, silky body and acidity.
