WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
To make our 2014 Hahn SLH Chardonnay, our winemakers selected fruit that yielded expressive aromas and flavors. After the fruit was carefully sorted, the grapes were whole-cluster pressed and fermented in small, French oak barrels. We then hand-stirred the wine on the lees every week for the 12 months this wine rested in barrel. When the wine was ready to be bottled, we chose only the barrels we felt best exemplified the aromas, flavors, and structure of the Santa Lucia Highlands.
Rich and layered with silky notes of citrus orange, honeysuckle, caramel, and vanilla with hints of stony minerality.

Petrale sole stuffed with bay scallops and dungeness crab, hazelnut crusted chicken, or carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.
