ROTH HERITAGE RED

WINEMAKER’S NOTES:

Heritage is a red blend which celebrates the perseverant and relentless spirit of our forefathers. This wine is a tribute to our proud heritage and commemorates the many bold journeys that shaped our great country. Roth Heritage is bold and rich with fruit-forward aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, and black cherry followed by violet, vanilla, and black licorice. Its flavors are intense with black fruit that meld together beautifully with the sweet oak and vanilla bean on the palate. With its silky texture, the tannins slowly unwind for a lingering finish.

92 Points – Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, January 2016
“The 2013 Heritage is a beauty. Supple, well-integrated, velvety tannins, sweet black and red currant fruit, some cedar wood, earth and spice are all present in this full-bodied, complex, red. Although Bordeaux-inspired, the ripeness and purity of fruit clearly suggest Northern California. The color is opaque ruby purple, and the wine full-bodied and approachable now, although it should drink well for at least 20 or more years.”
