The 30 hectare St. Estephe vineyard of Chateau Tronquoy Lalande is planted to 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot. With a total of 18 planted hectares, the vineyard is planted to a density of 9,000 vines per hectare. The vines are on average, close to 25 years of age. The wine of Chateau Tronquoy Lalande is vinified in geothermal powered, temperature controlled, stainless steel tanks. On average, the wine is aged in 25% new, French oak barrels. Chateau Tronquoy Lalande property produces 7,500 cases of St. Estephe wine per year. There is a second wine, Tronquoy de Sainte Anne.
