WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
This Pinot Gris hails from vineyards in Monterey County, where cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean slow down ripening and allow extended hang times. These conditions produce vibrant flavor and highlight the varietal’s brisk acidity. Once harvested, the grapes for this wine were fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The cool and neutral fermentation preserved delicate floral and stone fruit aromas and its refreshing finish.
Aromas of peach, tart pear and banana. Silky mouthfeel with crisp acidity showing notes of meyer lemon and green apple on the finish.
PAIRING SUGGESTIONS:
Spicy grilled prawns, Pasta with cream sauce, Seared Sea Bass.
