WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
The Firebirds 2014 custom blended Napa Valley Red Wine is very approachable and makes a great companion with food.
The silky texture provides a lovely backdrop for a wine that has excellent balance of fruit, tannins and acidity. Dark cherry red in color and overtones of blueberry, dark cherry, cinnamon and roasted spices greet you when you first sample the wine.
The incredible concentration of flavors comes from specially selected vineyard sources located in Oakville, St. Helena and Calistoga districts of Napa Valley. We selected Girard Winery to produce our wines because they have been repeatedly hailed by the Wine Spectator & others as among the best in the region.
