BenMarco Malbec

What’s on the grill this Tuesday night? Chances are that whatever the fare it will pair nicely with Malbec. This wine, made by Susana Balboa of Argentina is from the Uco Valley of Mendoza, home to some of Argentina’s finest Malbecs. A perfect growing area for this grape, originally from France. Malbecs are fruit forward, slightly spicy, rich and elegant, perfect for pork steaks, chicken, ribs or grilled vegetables. So tonight, fire up the grill, open the wine and enjoy.

WINEMAKER’S NOTES:

Vista Flores is an extraordinary Terroir with sandy loam and rocky soils which guarantees good permeability, limits plant growth and assures perfect ripeness.

BenMarco Malbec 2013 is testament to Uco Valley where it hails from, proffering a bouquet of fresh black fruit, floral notes (violets), primary aromas with a mineral background, very soft tannins and juicy acidity.
