We had a great time and a fun group at the Southern Hemisphere Ward on Wine class held on June 10, 2015 at The Wine Barrel in Sunset Hills, MO. The journey began in New Zealand with Infamous Goose Sauvignon Blanc. We then traveled to Argentina’s Mendoza region for Crios Torrontes and then to South Africa for Graham Beck Chenin Blanc. A stop in Australia granted us the opportunity to taste Frisk Prickly Riesling. A quick trip back to Mendoza for some Ben Marco Malbec and then it was over to Chile for Casa Silva Carmenere and Lapostolle Canto de Apalta. One last jaunt to Australia for a bit of Two Hands Angel’s Share Shiraz and our trip was complete, sans jet lag!
