Old World vs New World Wine Dinner

Held Friday, April 17, 2panorama-94015
Panorama in the St. Louis Art Museum
Wine dinners are a great way to showcase a restaurant’s unique cuisine paired correctly with wines that have been carefully chosen. Ivy Magruder, Executive Chef and General Manager of Panorama, and his staff out did themselves at this old world vs new world wine dinner. Each course was paired with a wine selection from classic growing regions of the world. In one glass attendees had wines from California, Argentina and Oregon while The old world wines came from France, Italy and Spain. All the wines worked very well with the delicious courses prepared by the Panorama cooking staff. People attending the dinner were truly impressed by the quality of the food, the pairing of the wine and the unique concept of being able to taste two wines with each course.

The wines featured at the dinner:

  • Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc Viognier
  • Chateau De Fontenille Entre Deux Merspanorama-152
  • Cloudline Pinot Noir
  • Joseph Drouhin Laforet Bourgogne Pinot Noir
  • Zuccardi Brazos Red Blend
  • Frescobaldi Terre More dell’Ammiraglia
  • Mumm Napa Rosé
  • Segura Viudas Brut Rosé
